The pinnacle of the NBA season is officially here, it’s time for the NBA Finals. Two teams are left standing in their pursuit of the Larry O’Brien Trophy, both of them just three wins away from their first title in team history, something that would mean a ton for either city.
Representing the Eastern Conference is the Indiana Pacers, led by Tyrese Haliburton and Pascal Siakam. En route to their first Finals appearance since 2000, the Pacers took down the first-seeded Cleveland Cavaliers in the semifinals and beat the New York Knicks in the Conference Finals.
The Oklahoma City Thunder made it out of the Western Conference, largely backed by the All-Star capabilities of Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Jalen Williams. All season long, the Thunder have been heralded as the NBA’s best team, and they’ve backed it up. After finishing the regular season with a league-high 68 wins, they took care of the Memphis Grizzlies, Denver Nuggets and Minnesota Timberwolves on the way to the Finals.
With these teams and their two best players knocking on the door of their first NBA championship, now might be a perfect time to look back at their Panini Silver Prizm Rookie Cards.
Since its first installment in the 2012-2013 Panini Prizm Basketball set, the Silver Prizm card has come a long way and evolved into one of the most iconic non-numbered parallels in the card-collecting hobby. When collecting cards for modern-day pro athletes, getting their Silver Prizm card is often the baseline.
With that being said, let’s check out some of the best players in the NBA Finals and their rookie cards!
Tyrese Haliburton 2020 Panini Silver Prizm

After Haliburton was acquired by the Pacers via trade, he has seen his career take a turn for the better. In three and a half seasons with the team, he’s averaged 19.5 points and 10.1 assists per game, been named to two All-Star teams and been a big-time playoff performer.
During his team’s run to the NBA Finals this year, Haliburton has come up huge time and time again, and has begun his rise to super-stardom. Not only did he hit buzzer-beaters and game-winners throughout the first few rounds of the playoffs, but he also made a shot with 0.3 seconds left in Game One of the Finals to give the Pacers the win. He’s been putting up 18.4 points, 9.3 assists and 5.8 rebounds per night, while being the primary ball-handler for an explosive Indiana offense.
This Panini Silver Prizm card comes from Haliburton’s rookie year in 2020, and according to the Ludex app, it’s worth somewhere between $19 and $35. The card features a young Haliburton in a Sacramento Kings jersey, mid-air, getting ready for a dunk.
Pascal Siakam 2016 Panini Silver Prizm

No stranger to the NBA Finals spotlight, Siakam brings both veteran leadership and playoff experience to this Pacers squad. A member of the Raptors team that brought a championship to Toronto in 2019, Siakam was acquired by the Pacers ahead of last year’s trade deadline with the hope that he’d help them take that next step, and he’s done just that.
After playing a big role in the team’s run to the Conference Finals last year, Siakam has been an integral part of the Pacers’ success again this year. In the 2025 Playoffs, he’s been averaging 20.6 points and 6.1 rebounds per game, and even played well enough to bring home the Eastern Conference Finals MVP Award.
Siakam’s rookie Panini Silver Prizm card was released in 2016, his debut season with the Raptors. According to the Ludex app, the card is worth an estimated $18 to $34, not bad for a player of Siakam’s caliber.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander 2018 Panini Silver Prizm

Gilgeous-Alexander has had a great year thus far, as he has both the regular season and Western Conference Finals Most Valuable Player awards under his belt, has averaged over 30 points per game and his team has been the best team in the league all year. If he’s able to bring the Thunder their first title, this would cement his season as one of the most impressive individual seasons to date.
This postseason, the Thunder star has been doing it all, averaging 30.4 points, 6.8 assists and 5.6 rebounds per game. With the first two games of the Finals already complete, Gilgeous-Alexander wasted no time getting his name in the history books, as he broke the record for most points scored through the first two Finals games in a player’s career with 72 points.
The most expensive card of all the ones listed in this blog, Gilgeous-Alexander’s 2018 Panini Silver Prizm card is worth an estimated $155 to $288 according to the Ludex app.
Jalen Williams 2022 Panini Silver Prizm

A key part in the Thunder being able to rebuild their roster and be serious contenders has been the emergence of Williams. This season, he took the biggest jump of his career by eclipsing the 20 points per game threshold and being named an All-Star, All-Defensive Second Team and All-NBA Third Team player.
Williams impacts things on both sides of the court, acting as a go-to second option offensively and holding up more than his fair share on the defensive end. So far this postseason, he’s averaged 20.2 points, 5.6 rebounds and 1.6 steals per game. If the Thunder are able to come away with a title this year, Williams will have certainly played a huge role in it.
According to the Ludex app, Williams’s 2022 Panini Silver Prizm card is worth an estimated $22 to $41. The only player of the group who’s still with the team that drafted him, Williams’s card features him in the classic Thunder home blue jersey, dribbling the ball up the court.
