CardVault by Tom Brady is marking a major milestone in its growth with a three day eBay Live event called Flawless Fest, running October 10 through 12. The event brings together star athletes, premium sealed products, and one dollar vintage card auctions as CardVault makes its debut on eBay Live.
CardVault’s Growth and Brady’s Role
CardVault began as a high end card shop offering collectors a modern showroom, secure vault storage, and grading services. After Tom Brady acquired a fifty percent ownership stake earlier this year, the company rebranded to CardVault by Tom Brady and announced plans for a major national rollout.
Brady’s involvement goes far beyond lending his name. He has been active in the collectibles space for years, from showcasing pieces of his personal collection to joining store openings and livestreams. His ownership has brought new visibility and credibility to the brand as it looks to merge the experience of a luxury retail shop with the energy of live card breaking.
Expanding Across the Country
CardVault currently operates locations in Boston, Foxborough, Chicago, Mashantucket, East Hampton, and East Rutherford, New Jersey, with a SoHo store in New York City opening soon.
According to a recent report from cllct, the company has also announced six new markets coming soon:
- Las Vegas
- Dallas
- Mall of America, Minnesota
- San Francisco
- Sacramento
- Palo Alto, California
That brings CardVault’s footprint to twelve stores nationwide, with a seventh New York location still in development. The brand has seen rapid momentum, earning recognition from Inc. as one of the fastest growing private companies in the United States with more than 338 percent growth in the past three years. One of its flagship shops, located at Gillette Stadium, was previously voted America’s Best Card Shop in an online fan poll by Loupe.
While no firm opening dates have been announced, Brady hinted that the new shops are coming soon. Each new location will continue CardVault’s model of combining in person experiences with live content, connecting collectors both locally and online.
Flawless Fest on eBay Live
To celebrate its growth, CardVault is hosting Flawless Fest, a three day live streaming event on eBay featuring premium breaks, special guests, and one dollar auctions for some of the hobby’s most iconic cards.
