If your trading card scan ever returns the wrong parallel in the Ludex app, the issue is often the lighting, not the AI.

We tested a 2024 Panini Prizm Rome Odunze Silver Prizm.
When photographed in normal/dull lighting, the card appeared flat. The reflective silver sheen was muted, and the scan would return a base version and sometimes even the white parallel.
It is remarkable how the same card can appear significantly different under bad lighting conditions.
The same card photographed inside the Ludex Light Box clearly showed the holo surface and reflective pattern properly. With good lighting, the card was correctly identified as a Silver parallel.
The card did not change, but the controlled lighting provided by the Ludex Light Box significantly improved the accuracy of the Ludex scan.
