Celebrate 20 Years of New York Comic Con with eBay Live

New York Comic Con turns 20 this year. The show runs Thursday, October 8 through Sunday, October 11 at the Javits Center in New York City. eBay Live is streaming from the show all four days, with more than 30 comic live streams on site at NYCC.

For the anniversary, NYCC partnered with Coney Island on an official Coney Island theme. The partnership started over the summer, when NYCC sponsored the annual Coney Island Mermaid Parade in June. This week it moves to the Javits Center: the Coney Island Sideshow is putting on a variety show on Thursday, October 8, with performances running all weekend.

Most Ludex readers collect cards, not comics, but these formats will feel familiar. Blind bags open like pack rips. Graded comics come in CGC slabs, the same way cards come in PSA slabs. Signed books and remarks (original sketches drawn on the cover by the artist) fill the role of autos and one-of-ones. Many of these streams also run $1 starts, so bidding works like any $1 auction. If you’re new to livestream shopping, our guide to eBay Live covers the basics.

Artist Rose Besch with Wanted Comix: 9:00 AM CT

Thursday starts early with Wanted Comix (wantedcomix on eBay), whose stream is billed as live from NYCC with artist Rose Besch. Besch is a Korean-American illustrator and one of the most in-demand variant cover artists in comics, with covers on superhero titles from the biggest publishers and work in video games too. The listing runs $1 starts, and the seller has more than 128,000 feedback ratings at 99.9% positive. If you chase autos on cards, artist-signed covers are the comics version.

Lorcana Rapid Fire with World Class Cards: 4:30 PM CT

World Class Cards is bringing Lorcana to NYCC with a rapid-fire show hosted by King and Danny. The listing promises $1 starts for the entire show, with enchanteds, promos, grails, and sealed product in the mix. Enchanted cards are Lorcana’s full-art chase rarity, roughly the TCG version of a short-printed insert. World Class Cards is a registered business seller with 99.9% positive feedback. If you collect Pokémon or other TCGs, this is the stream on the schedule that will feel most like home.

X-Men ’97 Blind Bags with Found Objects Collectibles: 5:00 PM CT

X-Men ’97 blind bags are the biggest theme of NYCC’s first two days on eBay Live, with more than 10 sellers running blind bag drops. Found Objects Collectibles is streaming from the show with $1 starts. Blind bags stay sealed until they’re opened on stream, so nobody knows what’s inside ahead of time. If you rip packs, you already know how this works.

Friday, October 9

Gronk Geeks Out with PCB Hobby: 2:30 PM CT

PCB Hobby’s stream is billed as “Gronk Geeks Out,” and it’s where football and comics cross over this weekend. Card collectors may remember Rob Gronkowski on the eBay Live stage at The National 2026, where he tossed footballs and swag to the crowd and auctioned his own game-used gloves and cleats.

PCB Hobby is a brick-and-mortar collectibles store in Panama City Beach, Florida. According to the shop, it keeps more than 100,000 raw comics and over 1,000 graded comics in-house. The event listing also advertises free shipping.
