February 2023 is another big month of product releases for the sports card collecting hobby. Here are some major release dates from Topps and Panini to keep your eye out for this February:


2023 Topps Series 1 Baseball – February 15, 2023

The 2023 MLB baseball season may be a few months away, but you can start collecting 2023 Topps baseball cards this month with the release of Series 1. Series 1 is the first release of the year with the new Topps card design, and this year marks the 71st straight year of Topps putting out their flagship product. Baltimore Orioles star catcher Adley Rutschman is the rookie to chase that collectors are targeting this year.

2022-23 Panini Donruss Basketball – February 17, 2023

The famous Rated Rookie brand is back this year in basketball with Donruss Basketball set to be released February 17. Collectors will be looking to chase rookies cards of dominant 1st year players like Paolo Banchero and Bennedict Mathurin as well as the popular insert set Net-Marvels.

2022 Panini Donruss Football – February 8, 2023

Just like in basketball, Donruss Football is back this year. Donruss Football, unlike basketball, includes the highly sought after Downtown insert set. The beautifully designed Gridiron Kings inserts compliment the classic base set design that collectors adore every year. Investors will be looking to find 49ers rookie QB Brock Purdy rookie cards when opening packs and boxes of 2022 Donruss this year.
