The NBA season is in full swing, and with the second half of the season approaching, a hobby favorite, 2023-2024 Panini Prizm basketball is set to drop on February 14th. With a very talented rookie class, and new parallels and inserts, Prizm is set to be the most anticipated basketball release this year.
This Year Rookie Class
The 2023-24 NBA rookie class is so talented, that they have their own blog. In that blog we dive deep into who rounds out the top 5 in the class, but here we’re going to highlight who the most anticipated rookies are in Panini Prizm. The Rookie Signatures set includes 50 rookies, making these cards one of the most sought-after. Included in this set are 13 parallels, including two 1/1 parallels. Unfortunately, many athletes in this class have signed exclusive autograph deals, Victor Webenyama is one of them due to his deal with fanatics. Although many are missing from the autograph sets, make sure to collect their base cards and parallels to build that rainbow of your favorite player.
Parallels
Panini Prizm is known for its exquisite designs and colorful variations. This year they’ve included a few new parallels such as Red Seismic Prizm (/299), Blue Seismic Prizm (/99), Multi-Wave Prizm (/88), and Glitter Prizm. The hobby-exclusive parallels include Black Gold, White and Snakeskin. Fast Break, another hobby configuration, has returned with 7 different parallels.
Insert Sets
This year also includes some new insert sets such as Deep Space and Fractal. A new scarce short print “Prizmania” also makes its debut including players like Stephen Curry and Luka Doncic. Sets like Fractal, also include parallels such as Mojo Prizm (/25), Gold Prizm (/10), and Black Prizm (1/1). Franchise Favorites offers a chance to go after your favorite NBA legend’s autographs with players like Julius Erving and Dwayne Wade included. Regardless of who you’re chasing in 2023-24 Panini Prizm, you can find them in an abundance of different insert sets.
