That’s the headline collectors will be buzzing about as eBay Live introduces its new Bounty Program debuting Wednesday, September 10, 2025 with the release of 2025 Topps Tier One Baseball and continuing the bounty promotion on Friday, September 12, 2025 with the release of 2024-2025 Panini Obsidian Basketball.
This innovative program adds an exciting twist to live breaks by rewarding lucky collectors who hit specific chase cards (mostly 1/1’s) with a full case of that particular product.
How the eBay Live Bounty Program Works
Here’s a quick breakdown of how collectors can hit big beyond the cards themselves:
- eBay will define specific cards that are eligible for each bounty
- The bounty is eligible for any format of case breaks as well as rip and ships
- Breaks and rip and ships must be opened on eBay Live to qualify for the bounty
- If bounty eligible cards are pulled during a live fill break it will trigger a penny auction 3 second sudden death case break to reward others in the room as well
- eBay selects the releases that qualify, outlined in their bounty release calendar
- Specific cards are designated as bounty-eligible for each product
- If you hit one of those cards during a qualifying case break, you’ll instantly win a sealed case of the product (or a comparable case if supply runs out)
Eligible formats include:
- Pre-fill case breaks
- Live-fill case breaks
- Rip and ships
Even better, if a bounty card is pulled in a live fill room, it immediately triggers a 3-second sudden death penny auction full case break.
