Bowman Baseball is back for 2025 bringing us a whole new group of prospects making their 1st bowman debut, as well as a strong lineup of MLB stars and veterans. This year’s release features a 100-card base set filled with 30 MLB rookies and 70 established stars, plus 150 prospects sharing the same design but the cards are numbered separately. Bowman Baseball is a big set for collectors because of the 1st bowman, which is the first professional card of a player and is released before their first official rookie card making it more valuable to collectors. Rookies & Prospects to Chase
A new year of Bowman Baseball means more new prospects to chase! This year is packed with tons of big name prospects looking to make their 1st bowman debut in 2025 Bowman Baseball. A few of those names include the No. 6 overall pick in the 2024 MLB Draft Jac Caglianone (Kansas City Royals), plus Charlie Condon (Colorado Rockies), JJ Wetherholt (St. Louis Cardinals), and Slade Caldwell (Arizona Diamondbacks) who didn’t make an appearance in the 2024 Bowman Draft set. You’ll also have the chance to find David Ortiz Jr. and D’angelo Ortiz who are the sons of Red Sox Hall of Famer David Ortiz. This set will also include the first rookie card of Roki Sasaki (Los Angeles Dodgers) not including Topps Now.
Autographed Cards
This year of Bowman Baseball is packed with autographs and will include over 100 signers including new prospects from last year’s MLB Draft, international prospects, and other players in the minor leagues. The main chase for Bowman Baseball is always the Bowman Chrome Prospect Autographs but expect to find other signature cards in this product like Chrome Rookie Autographs, Bowman Paper Autographs, All America Game Autographs, and Bowman Buyback Autographs (cards from previous Bowman sets that have been signed and inserted into packs of newer Bowman release). They are also bringing back the “My 1st Bowman Auto” inscription on the first card that is numbered to 150 from 2024 Bowman Baseball.
Inserts to Keep an Eye on
2025 Bowman Baseball is bringing in a mix of returning and new inserts. This year’s release features the return of popular inserts like Bowman Spotlight, Rookie of the Year Favorites, and Anime inserts, which were a fan favorite from last year. Bowman is also introducing some brand new inserts for 2025 including Crystalized, Rockstar Rookies, Greatness Loading, and Very Important Prospects.
