eBay Live at SEMA 2026: What Collectors Need to Know (Nov 3 to 6)

This week, eBay Live is streaming from the SEMA Show in Las Vegas, and for the first time, the platform is putting full vehicles up for auction. If you mostly use eBay Live for card breaks, this one is worth knowing about. The same app and the same bidding you use for breaks are being used to sell cars, motorcycles, tools, and collectibles from one of the biggest trade shows of the year. Here’s what’s happening, when, and how to watch. If you’re new to live shopping, start with our guide to how eBay Live is changing collecting.

What Is the SEMA Show?

SEMA is the automotive aftermarket industry’s biggest annual trade show, where manufacturers show off new parts, custom builds, and tools. The 2026 show runs November 3 to 6 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. It’s a trade-only event, and it opens to the general public only on Friday, November 6. That means most people won’t be on the show floor, which is exactly why the livestreams matter: you can follow along and bid from home. More details are on the official SEMA Show site.

What eBay Live Is Doing at SEMA

eBay is running a full week of streams from the show. The schedule starts November 3 with tools, parts, and accessories, then continues through November 6 with motorcycles, watches, and collectibles. Everything lives on a dedicated SEMA 2026 channel on eBay Live, and the channel goes well beyond car parts: you’ll find diecast, collectible toys, video gaming, and luxury watches alongside vehicles and tools. If you collect anything car-related, from Hot Wheels to racing memorabilia, it’s worth a look. You can set reminders for individual streams right from the channel.

Streams to Watch This Week

JEGS Live from SEMA: Garage Tools and Parts (Tuesday, Nov 3, 5:00 p.m. CT)

On opening day, JEGS High Performance goes live from the eBay Live Stage at SEMA with $1 starting auctions, live-only flash deals, and discounts on tools and garage essentials. JEGS has a 99.6% positive feedback rating as an eBay seller, and checking that number is a good habit for any live seller before you bid.

SEMA Motorcycle Auction (Wednesday, Nov 4, 2:00 p.m. CT)

The eBay Live booth hosts a motorcycle auction featuring three bikes, all starting at $1, with hosts Tanner & Co. and Riv running the stream. Bidding on a vehicle live works differently from buying a pack, so read each listing’s details and terms before the stream starts.

The Main Event: The eBay Most Wanted Collection Auction

The headline stream is a charity car auction on Thursday, November 5 at 2:00 p.m. CT (12:00 p.m. PT). Four vehicles go up for auction on eBay Live with bidding starting at $6 each, and co-hosts Sung Kang and automotive creator Hertrech “Hert” Eugene Jr. will walk viewers through the cars and the stories behind them while bidding is underway.

The four cars are custom builds inspired by famous video game rides. They were sourced on eBay, and some were customized with parts and accessories found on the marketplace. The lineup:

• The South Beach Supercar: 2022 Chevrolet Corvette C8
• The Street Icon: 2006 Dodge Viper
• The Classic Getaway: 1992 BMW 325i Convertible
• The Hot Pink Hi-riser: 1975 Chevrolet Nova

All proceeds from the auction go to Susan G. Komen. The $6 opening bid is a starting point, not a prediction, so expect these to climb quickly. You can preview each car at ebay.com/mostwanted, and the full announcement is in the eBay Inc. press release.

How Buying a Car on eBay Live Works

If you’ve only bought cards on eBay Live, you might wonder how a car sale is handled. Winning bidders complete the purchase through eBay Secure Purchase, run by an eBay subsidiary called Caramel Dealer Services, which handles payment, paperwork, and delivery. Eligible transactions qualify for up to $500,000 in purchase protection, subject to eBay’s terms.

Why This Matters for Card Collectors

Most collectors know eBay Live as the place for breaks and rip-and-ship streams. SEMA shows where the platform is heading. When eBay starts running vehicle auctions on the same tool you use for a Pokémon break, it tells you live shopping is a core part of the marketplace now, not a side feature. In practice, that tends to mean more sellers, more scheduled events, and more categories to browse when you open the app. The bidding basics carry over too: set a max you’re comfortable with, read the listing details before the stream starts, and remember that a live auction can move faster than you expect.
